From the second you walk through the front door, the wonderful view of the lake welcomes you. Cozy and warm contemporary lake house with over 100' of waterfront on the much sought 1100 acre Milton Three Ponds. We knew that we wanted to share this home the minute we found it. Warm and relaxing are words to describe the home during the winter with nature views outside every window. This is a fantastic place to stay for your next getaway, anniversary, or birthday celebration.
Winter on the lake!
The Milton Lake House is as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer. Whether leaf peeping during foliage season or getting snowed in - in winter, you'll stay warm and cozy as you watch XC skiers, snowmobiles, bald eagles, ducks, geese, Heron, and other wildlife around the lake. The living room features a large floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with birch-wood-style logs and large flame for the look of a traditional wood fire, without the hassle. Your view across the lake is conservation land, guaranteeing unspoiled views from every room in the house.
Jacuzzi Jetted Spa Tub
When the day is over relax in the Jacuzzi jetted spa tub in the master bedroom en suite. Winter at the lake house is like your own private retreat with unspoiled lake views and a cozy fireplace to keep you toasty. Take a walk in the snow, x-country ski or snowshoe anywhere around the lake, then unwind in the Jacuzzi tub at the end of the day.

Love to cook? Then you'll fall in love with the professional Viking gas stove. Other amenities include dishwasher, microwave, toaster, dual mode coffee maker (single serve or 12-serve brewing), and a trash compactor.
Whole House Generator
To ensure a perfect stay any time of year the home also features an automatic whole house generator to help ensure that you'll remain toasty and warm all season long - even while snow is falling.
Enjoy the new lake side deck
A new deck (June 2017) spans the entire lake side of the house. Watch the bald eagles, mallards, loons, and Canadian geese each day as you relax and enjoy the lake breezes. In winter look for herons as well.
Screen Porch
A large screened-in porch provides outdoor enjoyment spring, summer, and fall without worrying about the weather or bugs. A ceiling fan in the porch keeps the breeze going even if mother nature turns hers off.
Comfortable all year round
Eight ceiling fans throughout the house helps keep the house comfortable even on the warmest of days and to help circulate the warmth in winter. In the summer open up the sliders to allow the lake breezes to fill the home.
Master Suite and Spa!
The master bedroom features an en suite spa with Jacuzzi jetted spa tub, his & her vanities, built-in dresser drawers, and a large walk-in shower. The Jacuzzi tub is the perfect way to relax and unwind any time of year. The private balcony off the master bedroom overlooks the lake for late night star gazing or morning coffee while watching the brilliant sunrises. The second upstairs bedroom also features a private balcony overlooking the lake.
All bedrooms feature new furniture including super comfortable cool gel / memory foam mattresses (12" & 14"), new linens, pillows, and more. Furniture and bedding is new as of June 2017.
Breathtaking Property
The property is just as beautiful with three apple trees and a pear tree in the front yard; a long gravel driveway, and a gated fence around the yard.
Lower Level with Patio
A walk out semi-finished lower level features a second stone fireplace as well as a picnic area underneath the deck. Enjoy the shade or play a game of corn hole along the waters edge.
You'll find two kayaks and a pedal boat on the dock, and are available for you to enjoy during spring, summer, and fall stay at the house. Don't miss fall foliage on the lake. The lake is colorful and magnificent during foliage season thanks to unspoiled views of conservation land across the lake.

Terrific stay in idyllic location
We stayed at the Milton Lake House for 4 nights in mid-July. Exactly as advertised, the property is right on a lake with launch for kayaks and paddle boats. The house was very clean, more than enough space for 4 people, reliable Wi-Fi, and a short (less than mile) walk to an adorable farm stand with fantastic donuts and produce. Ron, the host, was terrific. He met us at check-in, walked us through the house and amenities, and was very responsive to our requests throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property and Superhost!

The lake house is a great place to get away in style. The home is modern with contemporary decor. Floor to ceiling windows gives a stunning view of the lake. Each bedroom has a private balcony and the master has a gorgeous walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The living room with the huge fireplace makes for a wonderfully relaxing place! We stayed for a long weekend and wanted peace and quiet! We go it in abundance. The house is about 15-20 min from restaurants and grocery stores, however, we already planned and cooked most of the time. As winter, not a lot to do, but that worked for us. Ron met us at the place, very friendly and welcoming. We had snow over our stay and Ron came to clear the driveway. A great getaway, wonderful hosts, and we look forward to going back!

After a long drive from the city, being greeted by Ron was just what we needed. He went out of his way to make sure we would be comfortable and had everything required to make the weekend spectacular. The house would have comfortably fit more people, but we enjoyed the extra space and booked it just for two. The decor made it feel like a true lake house and the large windows ensured you had a perfect view no matter where you were in the house. On one particularly rainy day we raided the game cabinet for movies and puzzles. We were even able to take in the views while cooking dinner with the addition of a modern grill on the deck. All the features were state of the art, including the Jacuzzi tub in the master suite. The neighborhood was cozy with friendly neighbors and was walking distance to nearby McKenzie Farms. Beautiful, relaxing spot on the lake!
Liz and Ron were the ultimate hosts. No detail was too small. The house was beautifully maintained and there were lots of cozy spots to relax and enjoy the spectacular view. Everything we needed was provided, including a well-stocked pantry, kayaks, an Amazon echo and more! We hope we have a chance to return soon!

Great Lake house for R&R!
Great waterfront house on quiet side of lake where feeder river enters - amazing views from all rooms and multiple decks/balconies. Pictures don't do the place justice. Great for relaxing, grilling, kayaking, fishing, etc! Bald eagles and herons fished right in front of property while we drank coffee and enjoyed.
