There are two Market Basket grocery stores on your way to the lake house.  The closest one is located in Rochester on Route 125, but a larger Market Basket opened last year in Farmington, NH - not too far off of Route 16.   For quick sundry items the small town of Milton has a Family Dollar and Cumberland Farms for picking up water, ice, snacks, cookies, cereal, drinks, frozen foods and more.

Yes.  We have three kayaks and a pedal boat for you to enjoy during your stay.  We also have 3 adult life vests / jackets and a child size life jacket.   Please note that ALL boating and use of the lake is done at your own risk.     Before it rains we highly recommend turning over the kayaks and placing them on the dock (but still strapped to the dock).  This will prevent you having to dump water out of them when the sun comes back out.

A Weber grill is located on the deck for your use and enjoyment during your stay.  There is a grill accessory case leaning up again the left side of the TV cabinet in the living room.    Keep the grill covered when cooled and not in use.  Please pull the grill AWAY from the railings before cooking to ensure the open and hot grill cover doesn't rest on the deck railings.

If you would like a sandy bottom beach area the Town Beach is located only 5 minutes from the house.   You can also get lunch or ice cream near the beach at the Pink House.

The lake is made up of three continuous bodies of water (Northeast, Townhouse & Milton Pond).   In total there is over 1100 acres for boating, fishing, and swimming.    There is also a lake Marina (Everett's Cove Marina) located 15 minutes from the house.   Everett's Cove Marina rents Pontoon boats, Kayaks, SUP's, Canoe's and JetSki's.   A boating license is required for motorized boating on the NH side of the lake, but if you stay on the Maine side of the lake no boating license is required.

Each bathroom has their own set of towels and wash clothes, and each bed features hypoallergenic pillow protectors, pillow cases, sheets, duvet comforter / cover, and a quilt for chillier nights.   We also provide complimentary makeup removing wipes.  Please use these instead of our towels for removing make up or skin care products.

The Pizza Nook is located just a few minutes from the lake house and offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, pizza's, calzone's and other dishes for take out or delivery. During the summer months The Pink House, just a few minutes from the lake house, offers Lobster Rolls, Hot Dogs, Sub Sandwiches, and Ice Cream.

There's also the Tumbeldown Cafe, a farm to table, restaurant located about 13 minutes from the house. Their food is non-gmo and delicious.  Reservations on weekends (during the summer months) are recommended.
