Smart House Features
Based around the Amazon Echo we have integrated voice control to allow you to control many functions of the living room by voice. I have outlined below the current functionality of our smart home.
Air Conditioning Commands
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Livingroom Air Conditioner
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Master Bedroom Air Conditioner
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Guest Bedroom Air Conditioner
Alexa: Set Living room Air Conditioner to 72 degrees
Alexa: Set Master Bedroom Air Conditioner to 70 degrees
Nest Thermostat (Heat) Commands
Alexa: Turn heat to 68 degrees
Alexa: Turn heat to 70 degrees
Living room lamps
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Lamps (both lamps will turn on / off)
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Lamp 1 (lamp near the chair sofa will turn on / off)
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Lamp 2 (lamp near glass sliding door will turn on / off)
Outside Deck Lights
Alexa: Turn on (or off) Deck Light (Outside deck lights will turn on / off)
Vizio 55" Smart TV
Alexa: Turn on (or off) the TV (or Television)
Alexa: Mute the TV Volume
Alexa: Increase TV volume to 20
Alexa: Lower the TV volume
Alexa: Turn up the TV volume
Keyless Entry (Front Door)
Alexa: Lock the front door
Alexa will not unlock the front door via voice commands for security reasons.
When entering enter your 6-digit code on the keypad to unlock the deadbolt.
When leaving the home just press the "SCHLAGE" logo and the door will lock
When entering at night, press the "SCHLAGE" logo to turn on the keypad backlight
